Our staff has been loyal and reliable companions on our journey for years or even decades. The curiosity for new things has remained. We are constantly learning from each other and from each other. From the farm to the organic hotel
Like many other houses in our heartland of Bavaria, we too are allowed to
moor&mehr on a eventful history of ours Biohotels in Bad Kohlgrub
looking back. And we always like to do that. Because we know exactly where we are

Because of the history with the moor&mehr.
- 1928 – 1960:
Anton and Theresa Fend, also known under the family name „Grötschengall“, ran the agriculture business in Spengelstraße Bad Kohlgrub. As an additional mainstay, the first six guest rooms were built. The luggage of the summer visitors was still transported by handcart at that time. - 1960 – 1992:
Martin and Ottilie Fend worked diligently on expanding the business. In 1971, a spa with twelve rooms was built out of the former inn. The first mud baths were administered and music was played together in the restaurant. Guests who came for treatment became regulars. - 1992 – 2022:
The Kurbad Panorama was expanded and enlarged with great enthusiasm by Martin and Andrea Fend. What was once a spa has now become a holistic facility Bio Kurhotel with a Hildegard philosophy. Bavaria's first certified organic hotel in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district. Since 2008 under the name moor & more. The focus Moors has remained. The passion too. - 2023 – today:
Son Martin and partner Lena take over the organic hotel in the 4th generation. With new ideas, a proven team and a lot of enthusiasm. Of course, the „seniors“ are still involved in the operation, so we do what is normal in a family business – we help together.
