Bio farm and herb garden

Ecologically conscious. Mindful.

We respect what nature gives us. And we have done so for over 100 years.
Our organic farm has been managed and run with love by us in the 5th generation. It is in harmony with nature and certified by Naturland. This has always been a great matter of heart for us at Bio-Kurhotel moor & more.

  1. Fair treatment of animals

Above all, we want our animals to grow up in an ethical and healthy way, and to be happy. Therefore, our Murnau-Werdenfelser cattle graze freely on our surrounding meadows from May to November, and also directly in front of our organic hotel – just as this rare breed, awarded by Slow Food, deserves. No stress, plenty of space, fresh air, and time to grow. Because we are convinced – only happy animals give us food of real quality back.

  2. Knowing what ends up on the plate

We love valuable foods: gentle, natural and regional. What grows on our fields and in our herb garden comes straight to your plate, without any artificial additives. This ensures that the taste and nutrients remain intact.

  3. For a diverse nature

We enjoy the diversity of plants in nature and want to preserve it just as you do. Without pesticides or artificial fertilizers. This not only protects the soil, but also insects and wildlife that depend on a diverse environment.

  4. For future generations

We also want to create natural living conditions for our children. Our farm has been managed by the Fend family for the fifth generation – with the goal of passing on healthy soils, clean water and intact nature to the next generation as well. Responsibility for what has been and for what is to come – that drives us every day.

Not only are they rare, but they are also beautiful! The unique taste quality of the meat has also convinced Slow Food. This breed has therefore been included in the „Ark of Taste“.

Even Hildegard of Bingen at the time succinctly put this simple but powerful truth: Our daily diet is much more than just eating food. It is the foundation for our well-being, energy, and health. By consciously choosing natural, high-quality, and balanced foods, we support our bodies in strengthening themselves and staying balanced. In this way, our diet becomes a source of strength – in the spirit of a holistic lifestyle that nourishes both body and mind equally.
